WELCOME TO ALGEBRA 1 !

If you’re a freshman this year, and you apply your grit and stay mindful, then you’ll find the kind of success in Algebra 1 that can lead to earning college credit your senior year!

If you’re a sophomore in this class and apply your grit and stay mindful, there is still a path for you to get college credit your senior year too – it will just take some extra hard work and determination, but it’s possible!

Why am I writing about college credit when we are just starting Algebra?
Most students understand that they need 3 years of math to graduate from North, and that they need years of math to get into a college like Mizzou. But most students don’t know that they can take the one math course that most universities require for a college degree, while they are still at North!

So now you know.

Look to the future to motivate your present actions and let’s have a great semester!
